Introduction:
Mu Xiang (Aucklandia lappa Decne.) is grown in Yunnan, Guangxi provinces in China, India and Burma; Chuan Mu Xiang is grown in Sichuan province and the Tibet Autonomous Region in China. Costus root extract can be used to relieve pain by promoting the flow of qi, and to improve digestion by reinforcing the spleen function. Costus root extract helps relieve epigastric distension.
